my internet is down

started opening up my last session on chrome, would only load parts of some pages, thought it was my computer, restarted. No fix, other people in the house said why the internet out, tried rebooting everything twice, no fix. Its connecting to the net but some ports must be closed because on xbox its letting me connect to live but then when i try to connect to the game server it fails. My friend on shaw down the street has same problem aswell as my brothers friend on live in town is having the issues, i switched over to my bridged telus modem and everything is working. So im asuming its either down cause there fixing something or upgrading my area or whatever and they know its down, or is it an outage they are possibly unaware of, cause i couldn't even load speed test to check my connection. I'm like 99.99% sure its not bandwidth related tho, im just curious if anyone else is having this problem or is it isolated just to my node. Only problem is if everyone is having the problem i dont know how there gonna be able to connect to post like me, only way i could get on was because i still have telus. edit: shaw has confirmed my node is down
