[BC] [SHAW] BB100, Torrents under 2MB/s, everything else OK

I am on Shaw's Broadband 100. 8 months ago I moved to a new apartment. I set up everything, RT-N16 /w tomato, gigabit cables and 1 gigabit switch. All good. Everything works perfectly, my speed tests almost always give me great results. (85/4.5 almost 80% of the time) When I download a game from steam, it shoots up to like 13MB/s sometimes. But when I download from utorrent (for the past 8 months), I have NEVER seen above 2MB/s (it's usually at 600KB/s). I've mucked around with a plethora of settings on utorrent and my router and could never successfully reach above 2MB/s download. Does anyone else have these issues and/or have been able to solve them somehow? Greatly appreciate any tips/help! :)
