Temporarily cancelling cable TV

I have the Shaw 50MBit internet + Cable TV (basic cable + around 10 or so HD chans) and it costs around $100 /month. I only watch TV for about 7 months of the year. Is it possible to suspect Cable TV service for the other 5 months and get a lower bill? If so, how much lower would it be?
