[BC] About to get Shaw BB 100, Any Tips?

So I rent a place and my landlord just switched to some crappy Telus 3 Mbps connection. I've decided i'm going to go all out and get a Shaw BB 100 connection since all I basically spend all day on the internet and do a lot of streaming + gaming. Any tips? Worth it? Any deals? Located in Vancouver, BC.
