-Internet Only- [Shaw] Rate: -150 Down, 15 Up Monthly Data Cap: -1 TB (very lenient on overage) New User: $49.90/month (1st year), $79.90 (2nd year) then $135/month thereafter*! Existing User: $79.90/month (2 years) then $135/month thereafter*! *Renewal options subject to change after 2 year contract. !Unlimited $99.90 for 2 year agreement [Telus] Rate: -150 Down, 150 Up Monthly Data Cap: -1 TB (First +50GB: $5, Next +50GB's (up to 550GB): $10, Monthly Max: $45 or $30 for unlimited) New User: $47/month (3 months) then $85/month or $115/month (unlimited) thereafter* Existing User: $85/month or $115/month (unlimited) thereafter *You can still add unlimited during the promo period for $77/month On savings, Shaw has the better deal but performance wise, Telus wins in this category. For $15 more (unlimited) you get +135Mb upload. Now that's a sweet ass deal. Sadly your building needs to be fiber ready for Telus to gain access whereas Shaw is accepted in most places for its 150Mb. My building is old so the max is 50Mb on a single line (though usually requires a 2 line bond but none were free for me to use) with Telus while Shaw can do 150Mb on the same cable.
