So a few years ago the DNU happened, my town had BB250 for a while, which I loved. Downgraded to BB100, which was then upgraded to BB120 about a year ago.
Now I go on the website to check for Wide Open 150 in my town (Port Alberni, Vancouver Island), and the only plans offered are 60/6. However I've got 125/15 now.
is it possible that the sales rep who I asked about availability was mistaken? I'm guessing I was grandfathered in, but why a 76% reduction in speed in my area? If I've already got the upload of WO150, and 80% of the download, how is it unavailable?
IF any shaw reps still frequent this forum, I'd love to have some input.
