Switch from Business 50 to Residential 150

So I originally signed up for a Shaw Business account because at the time I required a static IP - but these days not so much. I'm currently on the Shaw Business 50/5 - in particular the older plan which includes basic TV for $113.96/mo. Additionally, I pay $20/mo for a PVR rental. For some reason I was never allowed to buyout the PVR nor make TV channel changes without dropping this plan. Then recently the Shaw Residential 150/15 plan came along and for roughly the same price (TV included), my bandwidth would be tripled. My questions are: Has anybody had experience switching from a business account to residential? Who should I first contact at Shaw to make the switch happen; residential, business, retention, other? Can a Shaw rep possibly PM me? Do the current promotional rates for residential 150/15 also apply to existing accounts? Will I need to turn in my current PVR (with recordings on it), and what's to be expected of hardware rental fees on Res. 150/15? Since I'll require a new modem, is an onsite tech visit mandatory (I work odd hours), or would visiting the local Shaw office to exchange equipment suffice? Will I end up with a Hitron modem, and are they still "ping/jitter disasters"? Thanks in advance for any and all assistance. :)
