[BC] SHAW Redundancy in the BC Interior

Hi Shaw. A little fire happened this afternoon on the highway in the interior of BC TCH #1. Your fibre line was smoked as was TELUS. I see reports coming in the interior and Cariboo and PG are having troubles all the way up to FSJ. I have to ask you this. This looks like a repeat of the firestorm in 2003 when you fibre line was smoked near Falkland and trouble was on for about a week. My question is do you not have some more redundant paths between Kelowna and the central interior? And yes I'll pick on TELUS also but really can you advise do you have redundancy? Doesn't appear to be on the cable modem and home side. Credit my business is downtown and we have fibre gateway and that seems to be working so yes I guess I get what I pay for.... (For all the tariff rate boys) My TELUS is working at home but that is a different story. So what type of redundancy do you have out of the BC interior? This is a legitimate question not a bitch out. I don't know the answer so thats why I'm asking. Thanks
