can shaw modem run two SSIDs at the same time

A friend of mine who is a shaw customer told me that they had two separate SSIDs on there modem and that they could only access one of them. I never heard of a modem having two SSIDs at the same time so I went to her place to see if I could help apparently. a person changed one of the SSIDs which is the one she is currently connected to but she wanted to connect to the other one. she points out the second one that had a shaw name with a few digets with a 5G at the end of the name I tried quite a few times using the PW she gave me but could not connect to the 5 g shaw . I did notice that the signal strength of the apparent SSID she said she used to be able to log into was at least 2 bars lower then the one she currently was connected to. I also noticed that there is allot of i other SSIDs showing . I didn't want to reset the modem and start over until I can confirm that 2 SSIDs can run at the same time from the modem this is why I was wondering if it is possible to have two SSIDs running at the same time off of here modem .
