I'm with Shaw Communications in Richmond, BC, Canada. In my old address, I had a downstream SNR that was around 42-45 and I'm trying to recreate that under the new address. However, this address is managed by the strata and it is difficult to get a hold of whoever manages this townhouse. The reason why high downstream SNR is important for my usage is mainly for fluidity in online games. When the connection was perfect, games did not feel or play out like its a lottery ticket session. Where should I start? The Shaw technicians won't budge at all or listen to my requests of checking the drop statistics or anything at all. Other than it looks like it "works" in their eyes.
