[BC] VPN speeds and bridged modem availability

50/50 chance that I might get stuck with Shaw Internet in a future location. F#cking building managers and their personal refusal of Telus fibre access/install. Telus copper is apparently limited at 6Mbps for new installs at every address checked over a wide area(Telus site's address qualification tool). If stuck with Shaw(no Teksavvy available), what are the general max sustainable speeds for a VPN(P.I.A.) on the Shaw 60/3 plan? I have a slight concern that the 3 upload may be a bit wimpy to get 60 down. Of course needing low latency to achieve best results. . Shaw Gateways, is there any currently available that are easily bridgeable by Shaw support or the end users? Don't really feel like buying my own cable modem. 24x8(32x8) channels being the latest and greatest. -- Fibre optic wants in your building, you Luddite!
