XB6 confirmed to address horrible Cisco/Hitron puma6 issues?

Anyone have firsthand experience of having poor performance/latency issues with a Cisco or Hitron and then having their poor performance resolved by upgrading to an XB6? I'm currently on Teksavvy because my Cisco modem was utter garbage. Shaw is offering a pretty nice deal to come back with the XB6 but if the XB6 isn't a verifiable, drastic improvement over the Cisco/Hitron puma6 modems then I doubt im interested because the Teksavvy connection (on a non puma6 modem) is so much smoother than the cisco I had its not even comparable (for reference my puma6 test results used to be like solid red on the Cisco and are now mostly green on the teksavvy broadcom modem). Can anyone speak firsthand that moving from a Cisco to XB6 solved their complaints? Thanks
