On my daily commute, stuck in stop-and-crawl traffic, I get popup messages on my cell phone inviting me to log into a ShawOpen WiFi connection. Sometimes I see two or three in one city block. It is driving me nuts.
Here's the thing. I am not a Shaw customer, I've never logged into a ShawOpen account, and I have disabled open network notifications on my Android phone. And STILL I get these popups, which are very distracting when I am driving.
How do I block these once and for all?
