Hi, so I have been wondering about the new 5G service that is supposed to come out soon all over the country. So are there going to be wireless 5G modems shaw might use or some company that offers 5G broadband wireless at home on your network with ipv4 and ipv6 and static ip's and unlimited Data?
5G is supposed to be around 10Gbps and low latency for Virtual Reality, movies download (streaming) and gaming just like how Fibre optics works I think.
If 5G works like how I've heard it is, then wouldn't 5G be a good alternative to fiber FTTH and cheaper than running cables all over. I know the isp still has to either put up satellites or some kind of transmitters too.
